We’re delighted to celebrate the incredible individuals recognised at the Localism Awards hosted by the Aston Villa Foundation. These awards highlight the outstanding contributions of people who are making a real and lasting difference in their local communities.

Among those recognised is Hafizah, a valued member of our youth group. Her dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to supporting others make her a fantastic role model for young people in our community. This recognition is a testament to her hard work and the impact she continues to have.

We would also like to acknowledge Chris, our former Chair, whose ongoing support and long-standing commitment have played a key role in strengthening our organisation. His contribution continues to inspire both our team and the wider community.

The Localism Awards shine a spotlight on individuals who go above and beyond to create positive change. It’s inspiring to see members of our community recognised on such a major platform, and we are incredibly proud to be part of their journey.

Why Community Recognition Matters

Celebrating local achievements not only honours individual success, but also encourages others to get involved, give back, and help build stronger, more connected communities. Initiatives like these demonstrate the power of grassroots action and the importance of supporting one another.
