Artist Development Officer

Faim initially joined Legacy WM as a volunteer helping out during Bangla Week 2024, and most recently leading on our Pohela Boishakh new year celebrations.

As Artist Development Officer at Legacy West Midlands, Faim's work also includes organising UNESCO-recognised Intangible Cultural Heritage events like Mongol Shovajtra, featuring orchestral collaborations, multi-generational performances, exhibitions, processions, and community workshops that promote cultural identity and artistic innovation.

In addition to programming, Faim manage partnerships with key cultural organisations as well as volunteer engagement.

Faim's role combines cultural leadership, community engagement, and artist development, driving impactful projects that amplify diverse voices, fostering inclusive creative expression.

Your coaches are doing a tremendous job with our children. Riding with the Freedom50 group is amazing, its great company, mostly enjoyable (when it’s not too hilly, but hey, that’s where the best memories are made and where you get the best laughs!). Walks around the park are relaxing. I like taking in nature and experiencing nature, whilst having great conversations with local residents.
