Shahid joined the Legacy team in September 2023 as a Men's Health and Youth Worker. Shahid has a level 2 coaching certificate in Badminton, He is currently coaching badminton to our Legacy 7 to 11 year old's on Saturday afternoon's and 13 to 19 year old's on Wednesday evenings. Shahid had a national ranking in England and experience of competing in international tournaments.

He has a management background in retaill and has been managing for major retailers such as Tesco’s, Sport Direct, and Heron Foods. He is now bringing his skills and experiences to support people to get active, develop projects, and address issues impacting men's health.

Shahid is passionate about helping young people by organising sports activities,  health workshops, and getting people more active. He wants to promote health.

Shahid comes from a close knitt family background. He is a carer for his elderly father and mother. Family is a big priority for him. His brother, Alfu Miah.has been a mentor and guide to him and a role model. 
Shahid is a keen footballer,  and his first football manager and coach was Aftab, the CEO of Legacy WM.
