Details

We are seeking a qualified youth worker to join our team, leading youth work sessions for young people ages 14-18. Delivery will take place over an initial period of nine months, with continuation subject to funding. Sessions will be delivered at Soho House Museum and Visitors Centre w/ ground-floor access and off-street parking.

Key Duties

  • Plan and deliver 24 sessions over the initial funding period of 9 months
  • Liaise and collaborate with Legacy WM to  ensure service user wellbeing at all times
  • Lead offsite excursions, facilitate guest speakers and devise additional session content

Person Specification Essential

  • Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work Practice or above
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • An understanding of the area and the salient issues in contemporary youth work
  • Strong rapport-building skills
  • An inclusive approach that engages services users regardless of background
  • Availability for evening work

Desirable

  • Experience delivering youth work sessions in disadvantaged communities
  • Relevant lived experience
