Bangla Food Journeys

This was Legacy WM’s first project, which researched and recorded the contribution of Bangladeshi food to British culinary culture, through the stories of migrant communities who settled in Birmingham.

The outcome was the publication of a beautiful book entitled Bangla Food Journeys: a collection of stories, recipes and photographs that documented and celebrated the food culture of Bangladeshi people alongside their migration journeys and the impact of both on the culinary landscape of Britain.
